The incredible India Party hosted by Dr. Vijay Mallya on May 16, 2009 became the talk of the town at the ongoing 62nd Cannes Film Festival.
India showcased its soft power in a grand style and was graced by the best of the global showbiz faces who were mesmerized by the Saturday night music, dance and Indian aura at the May 16 star studded Indian party hosted by Dr. Vijay Mallya, Chairman, UB Group at the spectacular `Le Grand Jardin’- his private residence, on the historic island of St Marguerite at Cannes. The party was attended by over 300 guests and carried on until 6 am the next morning. Indian and International Dignitaries were completely overawed by Dr. Mallya's hospitality and told him that he had raised the bar of India, at Cannes - indeed a befitting tribute to a magical night.
